We are seeking a reliable, dynamic and responsible attendance officer to join the team at The Hewett Academy.
You will help our students achieve success by promoting high levels of attendance and by coordinating support and intervention where attendance drops below our expected standard. The role includes running our daily attendance monitoring processes, advising on development of the whole school approach to attendance, and some individual casework with students and families in need of support.
You will also provide administrative and clerical support services to a high standard, supporting management, teachers, and students in an efficient, professional, and effective manner. This will involve organising and attending Attendance Panel and Fast Track Panel meetings as required and liaising with the Norfolk County Council attendance officer on a regular basis.
You will have excellent organisational skills and confidence in communicating with a range of different stakeholders, while working to tight daily deadlines.
