The Arthur Terry Learning /Partnership (ATLP) is a highly successful Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing 4 secondary schools, 8 primary schools, a Teaching School, and SCITT.  Our MAT is currently expanding and will soon be 14 schools, 5 secondary and 9 primary, based in north Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield and North Warwickshire.

Full-time/Permanent term time only plus two weeks


Grade 3 (£20,344 to £26,317 per annum FTE (specific scale point dependent on experience)

(actual salary £18,642 to 24,115 per annum).


We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our well-resourced team as an Attendance Officer.


You will need to work on your own initiative, have good organisational skills, work well under pressure. To contribute to raising achievement by improving school attendance and to provide a specialist service to assist the school in meeting their obligations and targets in relation to school attendance, especially persistent absence. 


Promoting positive attitudes by students and families towards education and to ensure that parents are made fully aware of their statutory responsibilities. To make unsupervised contact with families in their own homes and elsewhere to assess the reasons impacting on the attendance of individual students, facilitating their return or access to regular full time education provision.


Helping to establish and develop a professional service to support the school in raising attendance, investigating persistent absences and improving punctuality.


This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent is an essential requirement of the role.
