Job overview

I am working with an alternative provision in Northamptonshire who are looking for a bank of supply support staff to work as behavior mentors on a supply basis for when their own staff are absent. They will offer free training in their programme and set you a supply lesson to teach. The programme aims to support children at risk of exclusion in mainstream schools who are on EHC plans. This role would suit someone is a similar position who it looking for adhoc work or a youth worker. You must be able to travel and work at short notice.

Youth/Community work experience

SEN experience

Residential support/care worker

Behaviour Support experience

Criminology, Psychology, Drama, Music Degree

Sports coaching qualification or background

Team Teach/ SKIP, CPI, MAPA physical intervention training

Youth Offending Services

Supporting NEET

Challenging behaviour within an out of school setting

Mentoring

Teaching/Learning support Assistance/ numeracy and literacy support
