Job overview

Full time Behaviour Support  TA role on an ongoing basis.

We are looking for a skilled staff member who may have worked in Mainstream with SEN / SEMH students or SEND education previously.

You will be calm, supportive, patient in manner and have training in support work or special needs education.  You will be paid fairly and according to the school’s pay policy. Working hours are 8.45-3.30pm Monday to Thursday and Fridays 8.30-12.15pm. 

This Behaviour Support  TA work is with KS3 and 4 students. These young people may experience significant challenge with specific needs, emotional or mental health needs that may translate to their behaviour, communication and presentation. It is essential to understand this and work with this according to the setting’s specific nurture policy.

Vision for Education is committed to Safeguarding children and young people. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS Check that must be registered to the Update Service.
