Full time role on an ongoing basis to cover a period of absence.
We are looking for a skilled staff member who may have worked in Mainstream with SEN / SEMH students or SEND education previously.
You will be calm, supportive, patient in manner and have training in support work or special needs education. We are able to refresh your Team Teaching training with a 12 hour course free of charge for this Teaching Assistant role. You will be paid fairly and according to the school’s pay policy. Working hours are 8.30-3.30pm. You may be required to attend a staff meeting for 45 minutes one night per week which will be paid.
This Behaviour Support work is with KS3 and 4 students. These young people may experience significant challenge with specific needs, emotional or mental health needs that may translate to their behaviour, communication and presentation. It is essential to understand this and work with this according to the setting’s specific nurture policy.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS Check that must be registered to the Update Service.
