This 11-18 City Technology College with an enrolment of 1300 students was named, for the fourth time, in Her Majesty's Chief Inspector's Annual Report for its outstanding Ofsted Inspection Report and examination results.
Candidates with experience of teaching GCSE and A Level Biology are particularly encouraged to apply.
Biology, Chemistry and Physics are taught as separate disciplines from Year 8 upwards and in Key Stage 4, students follow GCSE courses in Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) or Combined Science from the AQA examination board. A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics are very popular with approximately 200 students following at least one of the OCR specifications. We also offer BTEC Level 3 in Applied Science for those students requiring a more vocational route.
