Our school is very highly regarded, heavily oversubscribed, has a strong community ethos and enjoys examination results which are well above national averages.
We are looking for a Biology technician to join our enthusiastic, dynamic and committed Science Department, which is led by an outstanding Curriculum Leader who has overseen significant improvements in results in recent years.
The successful candidate will work alongside the technicians for Chemistry and Physics as well as the teachers of Biology and Science.
Duties include the preparation and clearing of practical work, support for teaching staff and general laboratory maintenance. Previous experience of working in a laboratory is an advantage but not essential. Some general whole school support in other curriculum areas may be required on occasion.
We can offer you:
- an outstanding opportunity to be part of a new phase in the development of our Science Department
- a friendly, vibrant, caring school
- an enterprising and ‘can do’ ethos where initiative and innovation are warmly embraced
- a school of opportunity where staff are supported and developed
Candidates wishing to visit the school are welcome to do so by appointment.
An application form for this post can be downloaded from our website and should be returned to the Headteacher, Niamh Arnull, by email: firstname.lastname@example.org by midday on 23rd October.
Candidates will be invited for interview as they apply.
