Breakfast Club 7.30am – 9.00am = 7.5 hours per week

After School Club 3.00pm – 5.00pm = 10 hours per week

After School Club 3.00pm – 5.45pm = 13.75 hours per week

Actual Salary: £9.99 - £10.60 per hour

Full Time Equivalent Salary:  Support staff Grade 3 £19,264 - £20,444

About the role 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and organised individual to manage the provision of supervised care for children in Before & After School Club. They will help to provide a challenging environment which will encourage the children’s all-round development,


We are looking for someone who:

• Understands their role in safeguarding and protecting children

• Has a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent

• Proven experience of working with children aged 3 – 11 years of age

• Experience of a childcare/school setting

• Has the ability to communicate to a variety of groups from children to parents and senior managers

• Is committed to making children feel happy, safe and secure


All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
