Willows Academy is a smaller than average primary academy with a caring, supportive ethos. We take great pride in creating a warm and friendly environment and a positive culture for learning. Our motto is ‘Believe and Achieve – Growing Together’. We believe that all children have the right to be successful and that every child has the potential to achieve amazing things. The children are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to provide an education that prepares our children for the future and enables them to be successful, resourceful, responsible and resilient lifelong learners.

We are a team of enthusiastic, passionate and caring staff, who are welcoming, friendly and keen to support and develop any newcomers to our family. We seek staff that are committed to improving the life chances of every single child in the academy by striving to ensure that they reach the highest possible standards.

We have been on a huge journey of improvement from being in Special Measures, prior to converting to be an academy, to receiving our first ‘Good’ grading in 2015, which we retained during our Section 8 Inspection in March 2019.
