Building Maintenance Officer

Hours: 20 hours, whole time 52.1428 weeks 7.15am – 9.15am / 4.15pm - 6.15pm Monday – Friday

Initially – Fixed Term Contract 04/05/2021 – 30/04/2022

The Dove Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a member of staff to take full responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of High Coniscliffe CE Primary School with effect from 4th May or as soon as possible thereafter. This is a temporary contract, initially until 30th April 2022.

We are proud of our school and are looking for the right person to help us provide the very best environment for our staff and pupils to continue to flourish together as a community. The successful applicant should; 

• have the ability to set high standards.
• have experience of cleaning in a contract or industrial setting
• be flexible in the approach to working arrangements and hours
• be willing to undertake training as necessary to fulfil the job description
• comply with the No Smoking and Alcohol at Work Policy

The post will be based at High Coniscliffe CE Primary School however the Trust reserves the right to require you to work at such other schools in the Trust depending on the needs of the business.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to a successful DBS clearance (certificate of disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring service) and pre-employment checks will be undertake before an appointment is confirmed.
