Job overview

January 2018 start, or earlier - West London

The New Model School (NMS) runs two independent primary schools in London.  We set our standards high; we aim to provide a first-class traditional education, with a focus on developing a positive attitude to learning, at the lowest sustainable fees.

We are looking for a Bursar to work in our small Head Office near Ladbroke Grove.

The purpose of the role is to provide strong financial and operational leadership, supporting the CEO, and working with other members of the Head Office and the Heads of the schools.

As well as Finance, areas of responsibility will include treasury, insurance, and capital projects.

The Bursar will also manage the relationship with the outsourced IT provider and so an effective understanding of ICT systems and packages, such as Sage, Excel and SIMS would be very useful. NMS expects to be rolling out a School Information Management system in 2019 and the right person would be key to managing this project.

If you are interested in the role and would like further information, please contact the HR Manager on 020 8965 7374 or recruitment@newmodelschool.co.uk

All completed application forms should be returned via email to recruitment@newmodelschool.co.uk by 10am on the 21st September.

Please note we do not accept CVs without an application form.

NMS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening and DBS check.

We require no contacts from recruitment agencies.
