About Geelong Baptist College

Geelong Baptist College is a mixed, non-selective, independent, all-through school in Victoria, serving students from the age of 4-18. The all-through school is situated in Lovely Banks. 

Geelong Baptist College was founded in 2002.The College strongly believes in providing an environment where teachers have the opportunity to teach and students have the right to learn. Teachers at the College are dedicated and passionate about their work, seeing a very high staff attendance rate of 97% in the latest Annual Report. Staff also benefit from the College’s annual tradition of a Staff Retreat – where team building and learning sessions take place.

Facilities 

The College school boasts a wide range of leaning facilities, including three sports ovals, large shaded playgrounds, outside sporting facilities, a canteen, bus services, computer rooms, science laboratories, music rooms, a technology block and a 1,266-seat auditorium.

Curriculum 

Geelong Baptist College offers a broad and balanced curriculum with a wide range of subjects and activities available – recognising the various skills and abilities of individual students. Pupils are also encouraged to seek private tutoring if they are struggling with a particular area of work in order to fulfil their potential. The curriculum also opens pupils eyes to new cultures, seeing Foundation to Year 8 students study Indonesian, and having the chance to increase their knowledge in it further by selecting it as an elective from Year 9 onwards.
