Job overview

Trinity School wish to appoint a Business Manager to join our senior leadership team to provide high quality professional leadership and management of the school's finances and premises to ensure the school achieves its educational aims. 

Responsible to the Headteacher and Governors of the school the successful candidate will have proven financial and managerial experience and have the ability to lead staff in the Finance, Administration and Premises departments. They will possess the necessary skills and knowledge to manage the overall Health and Safety of the school, ensure the efficient procurement of goods and services, lead the school in its budget planning, manage service contracts and maintenance, as well as having ownership for marketing of the school and providing Governors and senior staff with regular reports.

Trinity School is a mixed, non-selective Church of England secondary school with sixth form, situated in Carlisle, Cumbria. There are over 1,700 students at the school between the ages of 11-18.

Trinity School converted to academy status in 2011. It opened in 1968, the result of the amalgamation of Carlisle Grammar School, the Margaret Sewell School for Girls and the Creighton School for Boys.

The secondary school wishes to provide a high quality education for students and to see individuals achieve to the highest of their abilities. Trinity School wants students to make use of its wide range of extra-curricular activities, which range from the Duke of Edinburgh award to sports clubs.
