Rye Oak Primary School is a two-form entry school with a resource base for children with Autistic Spectrum Condition. We are a Good school as rated by Ofsted (Nov 2016). Our commitment to making a positive difference to the lives of our children is our utmost priority. We seek an experienced and passionate School Business Manager with outstanding interpersonal skills to work alongside senior leaders and the Governing Body providing strategic, administrative and financial support. The Business Manager will promote the vision and values of the school and be accountable for financial, premises and human resource management as well as showcasing the positive work of the school.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has significant and successful experience in strategic planning and leadership in schools
  • Has the ability to lead, inspire and motivate colleagues and teams they lead
  • Has strong administration, financial and budget management skills
  • Is knowledgeable about human resources and able to work in partnership with outside agencies
  • Is confident in premises and facilities management, including management of external contractors
  • Is committed to ensuring an environment that is attractive, appealing and safe for pupils, staff and the wider school community, incorporating high level of knowledge in Health and Safety
  • Is pro-active and conscientious about enhancing the education of pupils and supporting and promoting the positive work of the school
  • Is highly organised and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is able to work with high levels of integrity, discretion and confidentiality
  • Has excellent numeracy, literacy and IT skills
