Are you an outstanding professional with a passion for achieving the best possible outcomes for excluded learners and those with complex needs? Are you a professional with an established track-record of delivering excellence? If so, this position could be the role for you!

We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our Cambridge AP Academy, Ascham Road, Cambridge, CB4 2BD.

This role is about more than administration. It is about turning around the lives of vulnerable learners. Yes, it is a big challenge, but it’s also an inspiring opportunity to work with young people with complex needs who require extra support to achieve their ambitions.

TBAP Cambridge Academy is an Alternative Provision academy located in Cambridge. It provides education for vulnerable and challenging young people. The overarching aim of the academy is to achieve reintegration back into school, further education or employment. For some, this might mean a short stay at the academy, whilst for others it might mean a longer-term involvement throughout their secondary schooling. The Academy provides a broad and balanced curriculum which meets individual needs and the special educational needs of learners with Education Health and Care Plans. Where appropriate, the curriculum mirrors learners’ mainstream experiences and promotes continuity and progression in learning as well as emotional and social development. Learners are taught in small group settings with a high level of individual support and the academy works in close partnership with local schools, agencies and parents/carers to give the best support possible to its young people.

TBAP Multi-Academy Trust includes eleven Academies delivering high quality Alternative and SEMH Provision across four London Boroughs, Cambridgeshire, Essex and the North-West of England. Additionally, we have a Teaching School Alliance that offers extensive CPD and research programmes at all levels. In September 2016, we opened an innovative new 16-19 Academic AP Free school, which provides an academic curriculum to enable learners to gain access to Higher Education. The Trust has an excellent reputation for providing high quality education and transforming the lives of children and young people and is proud to hold a silver award from Investors in People.

We would like to interview individuals that reflect our values of resilience, compassion and innovation and desire the best outcomes for our children and young people. If this is you, please apply by completing our TBAP Application Form available for download from https://www.tbap.org.uk/vacancies/index.php

The TBAP Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be requested for the successful candidate in accordance with Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education legislation.

Please visit our website for further information on the Trust and our Academies and to download an application pack.

Interview Date: To be confirmed to shortlisted candidates
