The role: 

This is an exciting time to be joining our Multi Academy Trust. We operate from a Head Office in Ashfield with 9 schools in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire along the M1 corridor. We have experienced a period of rapid growth over the last few years and as part of our ongoing development plans, we are now ready to appoint to this new role.

As a Careers Advisor, you will work across member schools within the Trust in order to provide high quality, impartial, information, advice and guidance (IAG) to help young people make well-informed and realistic decisions about their progression routes.

Your role will include the provision of IAG, organising careers events, promoting and co-ordinating work experience as well as establishing an effective network of partners including educational institutions, employers and specialist providers.

We have a range of part time hours available. Please detail in the application form the number of hours you are available to work.

The person: 

To secure this role you must hold the Level 4 Diploma in Careers Information and Advice as a minimum and be able to offer recent experience of careers education and guidance in an educational setting. You will also need to be up to date with modern methods of communication and understand the academic and non-academic progression routes open to young people.
