Bank Support Workers

Location: Hyde Lodge- Westbury Park- Bristol

Salary:  £9.65-£10.85+ 13% holiday pay 

Hours: We can offer a mixture of shifts and days that will suit any need. 

Aurora Hyde Lodge:

Situated close to Bristol city center, sitting in the hard of the community and overlooking Westbury Park, Hyde Lodge offers a supportive living and learning environment for young adults aged 19+ with a range of profound and multiple needs that may include challenging behavior, severe communication difficulties and complex health needs.

 What is a Bank Support Worker? 

Bank staff are able to choose what shift they want to take on, giving them a great deal of flexibility when deciding to work days over nights, or weekdays over weekends. Many Bank Support Workers need flexibility to work just during school holidays or weekends for example.

Key Duties:

  • Providing exceptional high levels of care during all daily activities-such as socialising, learning, assisting with personal care when required
  • Ensuring that medical needs are met at all times
  • Communicating effectively and building strong relationships that will empower the young adults are free to grow and develop
  • Ensuring that the environment is safe, supportive and enjoyable 
  • As a Bank Support Worker at The Aurora Group, you will work with young adults who have varying degrees of special educational needs and disabilities. Your aim is to promote their confidence and independence and support them to lead a fulfilling life. 

This is an incredibly challenging yet rewarding role, where being willing to lend a hand wherever required is essential. 

Skills and Qualifications

Experience isn’t essential, the drive and compassion to empower and transform lives is. 

You will have a chance to work with a supportive team whose common goal is to empower and support wherever is required.
