New Rickstones Academy is graded Good’ and has a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff alike. Academy staff receive discounted membership at Witham Leisure Centre.

We are looking for an inspirational English Tutor to join us and provide intervention support to students in order to support raising attainment. 

This role presents an exciting opportunity for applicants who have a degree (or are studying for a degree), as you would gain experience to potentially develop a career within teaching.  A number of our support staff have progressed to our School Direct Teacher Training programme, for further information on this programme, please contact our ITT Lead, Debbie Dunn, 

With a minimum Level 3 English qualification, you will be able to demonstrate the talent and  interpersonal skills and a range of teaching strategies. Above all, you must have a passion for English and be able to inspire and motivate your students. 

This position is initially based at New Rickstones Academy. However, as we work closely with our sister academy, Maltings Academy (also in Witham), all new contracts are to work across both academies.
