An opportunity to join our Catering Department

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our busy team here at the school for 35 hours a week, Term-Time only plus two weeks (1 week for Deep Clean, one for INSET or events, ordering etc.). 

The School benefits from a fully equipped kitchen to assist in the preparation of freshly cooked meals on a daily basis for staff and students.

The successful applicant will be responsible for food production including food preparation, portion control, menu planning, presentation and service and managing the catering team.  You will be required to maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen in accordance with domestic and catering standards, be able to work in a busy environment, be well presented and have the ability to relate to staff and students in an appropriate manner.

Previous experience of working within this environment together with a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
