City and Islington College is looking for an exceptional Director to lead our Sixth Form Centre
Based at the Angel the Sixth Form Centre is one of 5 Centre's that make up City and Islington College. The largest A Level provider in London, the Centre also has the widest range of subjects on offer, currently 34. Each year we prepare 1,500 16-19-year old students for university or the world of work.
Responsible for leading the Centre you will be passionate about inclusive Sixth Form education, with substantial leadership experience and a strong track record of successful delivery in an education context. With a background in A Level teaching, you will be able to lead on curriculum innovation, putting students at the heart of our Centre and diversifying our offer for a changing world. A commitment to excellence, together with the ability to inspire and lead staff and students is essential.
Part of the Capital City College group formed following the merger with Westminster Kingsway, and the College of Haringey, Enfield and NE London, we are now the largest college in London and the third largest in the country with a student population of 37,000.
