CHEMISTRY TECHNICIAN
37 hours per week, 36 weeks per year (term time plus INSET days)
8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday
Salary: £20,430 FTE (Actual salary £16,008.53)
We require a proactive, enthusiastic and highly organised Chemistry Technician to support the Chemistry Department. The role would include preparing materials for Sixth Form and IGCSE experiments, including some Core Practical Assessments. The role will also include assisting the Head of Department in managing the department’s budget and carrying out some administrative duties.
As a member of our busy Science Technician Team you will ideally be educated to A level standard or higher in Chemistry. Experience working in a laboratory setting or in a school science department would be an advantage.
You will be responsible to the Head of Chemistry and will carry out duties within the Chemistry department as directed by the subject teachers.
