The Catholic Education Office in the Archdiocese of Canberra & Goulburn is seeking a highly experienced executive in information & communications technology to join its leadership team. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for leading the whole of enterprise technology strategy along with the delivery of quality information & communications technology to the corporate office and broad network of schools across NSW and ACT. You will drive stakeholder engagement to develop an ongoing understanding of the needs of users across the system, and will combine this with commercial acumen and market expertise to deliver industry recognised quality communication and technology services for Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn.

You will transform and manage the enterprise-wide architecture to ensure that technology investments align with school and system priorities. In doing so you will ensure the operational effectiveness of the Information Management and Technology Team is in line with the overall strategic direction. Delivering a secure, dependable and reliable information environment that enables seamless connectivity and flow of information to ensure quality operation of schools and the corporate office, including setting information and communications technology (ICT) policy and standards, and maintaining an effective ICT security framework.

You will build service centric culture and a cohesive team to ensure delivery of high quality services, active engagement of stakeholders including School Leaders; IT strategic partners, vendors and contractors; and the Executive team, to ensure technology services are delivered safely, securely, efficiently and in alignment with strategy.

To be successful in this role you will be known as leading executive in the information technology and communications arena and for your collaborative style and change management capability, with an ability to influence key outcomes to ensure the delivery of leading edge products and services. You will have the proven ability to anticipate and influence outcomes, as well as harness the skills and passions of a team to deliver key ICT strategies, services and overarching systems to our schools, essential to delivering quality education to over 21,000 students across our 56 primary and secondary schools in NSW and ACT and our 8 Early Learning Centers.
