This role is based at our Langley College campus; the centre for our main vocational and technical courses including Apprenticeships, Adult Education and HE. We deliver an innovative curriculum with superb specialist facilities including latest industry standard equipment, workshops and studios.

Child Looked After & Designated Safeguarding Lead

We are seeking a Child Looked After & Designated Safeguarding Lead with excellent understanding of safeguarding. The successful candidate will work to build an awareness and understanding of current challenges at Langley College. You will have a deep understanding of safeguarding legislation, regulations, and guidance in education.

With excellent interpersonal skills you will lead on safeguarding, whilst negotiating and influencing at all levels. You will need to be creative and innovative with a commitment and passion for enhancing the student experience. The successful candidate for this role will have a clear focus on the CLA (Child Looked After) cohort.

Experience of problem-solving and identifying appropriate resolutions to deliver projects successfully. You will be expected to coordinate and administer services which underpin the wellbeing of students, particularly where the welfare or health of a student is a barrier to learning and achievement.

This is a full-time role for 37 hours per week.
