Job overview
Mayfield is a large special school which educates children and young adults between the ages of 2 -19 years who have a diverse range of learning needs. The Primary site is on Heathfield Road adjacent to Lime Tree Children’s Centre. The Secondary site, on Wheeler Street, is in a unique setting on a shared site with Lozells Primary and Holte Secondary schools. Both buildings have purpose built facilities to cater for the 280 pupils we currently have on roll.
The school is preparing for an exciting new chapter with a new leadership team and are seeking to appoint outstanding teachers to our full time vacancies in our Primary and Secondary departments.
Contract types avaliable are Permanent and Fixed Term.
The successful candidates will be experienced and outstanding classroom practitioners with a passion for teaching and a proven track record. You will be able to inspire and engage our pupils and will be keen to join our committed staff team on our journey to becoming an outstanding school. Previous experience of working within an SEN environment and a desire to work with pupils with a range of learning needs is essential.
