Class Teacher for Autism Resource Provision (“The Village”)
For September 2021
Salary: MPS 3 – 4 (depending on experience)

All Souls is a vibrant one form entry school with fantastic children, supportive parents and a friendly Christian Ethos. We are situated in the heart of London’s West End.

The Village is a recently established provision for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) which has been open since September 2019 to complement the school’s already excellent SEND provision.

The Governors are looking to appoint a class teacher.

Salary: MPS 3 – 4 (depending on experience)


This person will play a key role, supported by the Lead Teacher and SENDCO, in continuing to maximise the success of our recently established specialist provision for up to ten primary aged children with ASD. There are currently seven pupils on roll. This will increase by a further two to three in September 2021.

The successful candidate will be a talented and passionate practitioner. They must have some understanding of the specific needs of children with ASD and a strong desire to learn more. They will also have some experience of effective teaching and learning, preferably within the context of a specialist ASD provision. They must be a strong communicator and team player and able to engage effectively with the children, staff – including link mainstream class teachers, and parents/ carers on a daily basis. They will also need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have the belief in the potential of every individual child as well as the drive to support all children to become the best they can be.

You will be joining a friendly and hardworking team who constantly strive to raise standards for the children and themselves within a successful primary school.
