Job overview

About you

We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to work as part of a valued team and help our learners reach their full potential. You will achieve this by providing a high-quality learning experience, whilst contributing to the overall ethos, work and aims of the school.

About Le Rondin

Le Rondin is a Primary Special School for pupils aged 3-11 years who have a wide range of learning difficulties and additional special educational needs. The school is organised in three Departments: Early Years & Key Stage 1 (from Nursery to Year 2); Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4) and Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6).

At Le Rondin, we aim to provide a bespoke curriculum tuned to the needs of individual pupils. Le Rondin is co-located with the Forest Primary School and the two schools share some facilities. The Centre accommodates colleagues from across the services who work closely in multi-agency teams to provide the best possible support for our pupils.

About Guernsey

Guernsey is a place of outstanding natural beauty with some of the cleanest beaches in the British Isles, cliff walks and stunning rural landscapes. It lies in the English Channel within the Bay of St Malo, 50Km off the north-west coast of France and 120Km from the English coast. Travel is easy, with regular flights and ferries from the UK and between Guernsey and Alderney. The average work commute time is just 20 minutes.
