Class Teacher

Belleville is a large, popular, outstanding  primary in Clapham in south London.  We are proud of our fantastic children and our many successes as a school. 

We are seeking excellent classroom teachers to join our strong and highly motivated team.   Whether you are newly qualified or more experienced, we'd love to hear from you. 

Teachers here receive fantastic ongoing development and support (we are a designated national Teaching School). NQTs access a three week induction programme and then  receive a further ten days of structured  training  during their first year of teaching, in addition to weekly INSET sessions and time with a dedicated in-school mentor. Experienced teachers will find many opportunities for progression,  both within school and across our trust.  Colleagues in each year group work as a team - learning, planning and assessing together - so new teachers are able to access a fully developed set of curriculum resources and plans, as well as opportunities to watch others teach.  We have specialist teachers for art, music, computing, French, PE and inclusion, so class teachers can focus more on the core provision. 

Belleville School is part of the Quality First Education Trust. We are a growing multi-academy trust with four south London primary schools  (The Alton School, Belleville Wix Academy and Churchfields Primary), as well  as Teaching School and a Maths Hub designations.  There are opportunities across our Trust.
