Class Teacher

St. Paul’s Primary School is a denominational school serving the villages of East Calder, Mid Calder, Pumpherston and Kirknewton. We also have placing requests from outside the catchment area each session.

St. Paul’s currently has 7 classes and a nursery class. This session the school has 8FTE equivalent teachers including one principal teacher. There is a 0.4 support for learning teacher, 0.5 PE specialist, 0.2 music specialist, 3 pupils support workers and one full time admin assistant. St. Paul’s also has a weekly visit from a brass instructor.

Our nursery class has the capacity for 40 preschool children aged 3 and 4 years.
