Winchburgh Primary is a non-denominational primary school serving Winchburgh village and the surrounding rural community. The school is part of the Linlithgow Academy cluster and works very closely with its cluster schools to continually seek to improve and develop the learning experiences of all pupils.

At present, the school roll is 177 pupils at the P1-7 stages of the school and nursery provision for 40 children.

The staff consists of the Head teacher, an Acting Principal teacher, nine class teachers, Nurture teacher, a Support for Learning teacher, four Nursery Nurses and 4 Pupil Support workers. The school has visiting specialists for brass and woodwind instruction one day per week for pupils from primary 5 to primary 7.

Staff demonstrate strong collegiality, distributed leadership and teamwork and this maintains the positive ethos for learning and teaching in the school.

Winchburgh Primary has strong partnerships with parent/carers, the local community and outside agencies. The school is committed to developing and maintaining strong multi-agency working relationships to support the learning needs of all pupils and their families.

We are located on a joint campus site with Holy Family, RC Primary school and have very close working relationships with our fellow campus school.
