We have seen the excellent things that happen when we let the children lead their learning and are dedicated to continue promoting this approach. We have a committed staff and leadership team who are raising standards year on year and taking the school forward. West Thornton Academy was judged as Outstanding in its most recent Ofsted inspection in September 2012 and is an exciting place to work.
