We are seeking an outstanding primary classroom teacher, to teach at St Columba’s School Wilston for 2019. To be successful in this role you will be able to meet the following criteria: appropriate qualifications and experience, solid knowledge, understanding and ability to implement BCE Excellent Teaching and Learning strategy, effective communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers, an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices, and a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum. St. Columba's Primary School is located in the inner northern Brisbane suburb of Wilston with an approximate enrolment of 605 students. The quality of teaching and learning at St Columba’s meets the highest standards set by Government and Catholic authorities. The school actively sets and regularly reviews its goals for supporting student learning. Although ours is an inner-city parish primary school we meet our responsibility to prepare young people for their future in a global society. This requires us to adopt new technologies and new teaching techniques within a rapidly changing environment to ensure that our students are well prepared for the challenges of the 21st Century.
