Classroom Teacher (Fixed Term - 2020 School Year) - Our Lady of Good Counsel, GATTON

The successful applicant will:

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  
  

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and competent teacher for  a fixed term position for the 2020 school year. 

The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic faith and Catholic education; work collaboratively with staff to provide engaging learning experiences for students; have demonstrated innovative and contemporary teaching practices; have experience implementing the Australian Curriculum; demonstrate the ability to work in partnership with parents and a variety of school based specialists and a willingness to contribute positively to many dimensions of school life; work in community with the school and parish for the benefit of our children.

Our Lady of Good Counsel School, Gatton, is a Catholic Primary School situated in the Lockyer Valley. We are a co-educational school with approximately 266 students. We offer our families and students a broad education founded on the values of the Mercy tradition. This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
