The European School RheinMain is recruiting teachers for the Anglophone Section of the Primary School (years 1 to 5) as:

Classroom teacher

The successful candidate will be:

- a qualified primary teacher,

- passionate about teaching, having the ability to provide an inspiring education,

- motivated to secure the academic and emotional progress of your student,

- dedicated in enabling all students to achieve their potential.

relevant skills and knowledge: 

- 1st to 5th grade Mathematics

- 1st to 5th grade English

- 1st to 5th grade Discovery of the World (Science)

- Ethics or Religion

- 3rd to 5th grade European Hours (Social Studies)

- Art

- English as a second language

We are looking for a dynamic native level English speaking teacher with experience of guiding students to achieve their potential. Innovation, enthusiasm and a passion for knowledge, which will inspire our students, is essential. The flexibility and the skills to support other team members is a must, along with a strong desire to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school. 

Harmonization between grade-level peers and coordination of homework with peer teachers is also a must.

ESRM is also approved as a Gymnasiale Mittelstufe by the Bundesland Hessen and has the status of an Ersatzschule

ESRM is authorized by the Board of Governors of the European Schools to organize the European Baccalaureate, in common with the other European Schools in the different member states and in Germany

ESRM has a Pre-Primary for 4 and 5 year olds, offered in the language sections in which the Early Learning program is taught to the children, in common with other European Schools

ESRM offers, in common with all European Schools, special facilities for children with learning difficulties within the official set of SEN provisions (Special Educational Needs)

For pupils with first language that is different from the language of the main sections, special mother tongue courses can be organized (SWALS: students without a language section)

In Primary as well as in Secondary, the classes at ESRM are not bigger than 24 pupils

Within the constraints of the ES system, ESRM has the possibility to organize and rearrange the class environment to optimize differentiation to suit the children’s needs

ESRM has a beautiful new building, specially constructed to facilitate the rich content of European schooling; the recently finished 4 field Sports Hall is amongst the most spacious in Germany

In ESRM normally only native speakers can teach the mother tongue and the foreign languages
