Classroom Teacher

Burleigh Primary School is looking for an excellent teacher to take a small group of Upper Key Stage 2 children for 5 mornings a week.  Experience of teaching pupils with SEN is essential.  If you would like to be part of a school team that is moving from Good to Outstanding, Burleigh is the school for you!  Why not come along and see the school for yourself before deciding whether to apply?  We have just had an Ofsted inspection (13th March 2018) which has affirmed all that we have been doing as a GOOD school. We are now eager for new colleagues to work with us to achieve greater success for our children.

Burleigh is a two form entry primary school set in lovely, spacious grounds. The Infant building was built in the 1960s, whilst the Junior building was opened in 1948.  In 2014, Ofsted graded the school 'Good' in all areas. Inspectors commented on the caring relationships between staff and pupils.  Pupils are well behaved and enjoy learning. Teachers plan together and there is a strong team atmosphere. Teaching assistants work in each year group. All staff at Burleigh are dedicated to working together to create a stimulating and happy environment for learning.
