St Joachim’s Catholic Primary School, Holland Park, requires a classroom teacher for  a full time fixed term contract that may extend. The successful applicant will work as part of a dynamic team, have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum and be willing to be part of the wider St Joachim’s community. Applicants are required to address their willingness to work as a member of a team in an open plan, flexible learning environment in the "letter of application" section of the on-line application form. St Joachim’s Catholic Primary School is a high-quality learning community that seeks to develop our children to their full potential. The demand for enrolment is increasing as younger families are attracted back to the established areas of Holland Park and surrounding areas, while wanting a smaller school environment where all students are cared for and known. At St Joachim’s we believe that learning and teaching is inclusive, supportive, collaborative, respectful, purposeful and meaningful.
 

St Joachim’s School is a Brisbane Catholic Education co-educational Primary School that was established by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1938. Our school is a high quality learning community with an approximate enrolment of 300 students. Employment Tenure:   Full Time + Fixed Term

Tenure Duration (if "Fixed Term"):  12 months and 6 months.

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019 

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
