Position Title: Primary Classroom Teachers – St Kevin's School, GEEBUNG We are seeking five primary classroom teachers. Each contract is for the 2019 school year. There are four full-time teaching positions and one part-time (three days) position. To be successful in these roles you will be able to meet the following criteria: appropriate qualifications and experience, effective communication skills, an ability to work in positive partnerships with colleagues, students and parents/carers, an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices, and a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum. Applicants are required to address these points in the "letter of application" section of the on-line application form. Applicants are also required to indicate whether they are applying for a full-time or part-time position. As all positions require classroom teaching of Religious Education, applicants must be Catholic.

St Kevins is a Catholic primary school of approximately 280 students. We are an inclusive school community with a comprehensive curriculum. Employment Tenure:   Full Time & Part Time positions available + Fixed Term

Tenure Duration (if "Fixed Term"):  2019 school year

If Part Time, hours and/or days required: The part-time position would require the successful applicant to teach from Monday to Wednesday each week and sharing the class with the school's Primary Learning Leader.

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019 


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
