About the Role

St Joseph's are currently seeking two temporary Classroom Teachers. These positions will be required to work collaboratively to develop and implement high quality and engaging teaching programs which account for the needs of the students in their classes. Additionally, the successful person will have the ability to plan and manage the teaching and learning process to accommodate a diverse range of educational needs and learning styles.

Essential Criteria

  • A sound understanding and commitment to the goals of Catholic education.
  • A sound understanding of current educational practice.
  • An ability to plan and manage the teaching and learning process to accommodate a diverse range of educational needs and learning styles.
  • An understanding of the role of monitoring, assessment and reporting processes to facilitate the learning and achievement of students.
  • Ability to integrate Learning Technologies across a variety of learning areas.

This position is temporary in nature because the substantive occupant (the incumbent) is taking parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
