We are looking for hard-working, honest and reliable individuals to join the Cleaning Department in our busy school. The successful applicants will help to keep the premises clean and tidy, ensuring that a clean and safe environment is provided for pupils, staff and visitors. Physical fitness, encompassing the ability to bend, stretch, lean, reach and carry heavy and awkward items is essential.
Part-time and full-time hours are available over 52 weeks, term-time (35 weeks) or term-time plus (42 weeks). Shift patterns will be discussed at interview. Successful candidates will be required to work their shift in addition to 4 Saturday mornings per year from 7am – 9am and one turnaround Saturday from 7am to 12pm.
The hourly rate of pay is £8.79 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) for Cleaners and £9.03 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) for a Cleaner Supervisor.
