CLEANER - Required immediately

Support Staff Pay Grade B, points 6-8

(Actual Salary: £7.83 —£8.62 per hour)

3.00pm—6.30pm, Monday—Friday. Term time plus 5 Teacher Training Days

Wollaston School is a large secondary school, with a work environment that is constantly very busy and complex. With over 160 staff and over 1400 students, the daily demands placed on the school site and our cleaning staff are relentless. We are looking for hands-on individuals to supplement our current team of cleaners.

Working under the direction of the Premises Manager – you will be responsible for carrying out essential cleaning tasks in a designated area of the site (out of school hours), to ensure that our school meets all statutory cleanliness, hygiene and basic health and safety requirements; making this a pleasant environment in which to learn effectively. The successful candidate must have sound interpersonal and communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail. You should be reliable, committed and hard-working, and ideally will have had previous cleaning experience.
