Job overview

  Multiple part time opportunities available

Ebor Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust serving children aged 2 to 16. It is our aspiration to develop geographical hubs of schools that share our values.

Due to the growth of the Trust, we are looking to appoint multiple Clerks, particularly in the York and East Coast areas where you will provide a clerking service to the local governing bodies at a number of schools that you will have been allocated.

The role involves preparing and distributing agenda, taking minutes and chasing actions as appropriate. Providing advice for up to three local governing bodies within an Ebor Hub on governance, constitutional and procedural matters, you will deliver effective administrative support, observing confidentiality at all times.

As meetings usually take place in the evenings, the roles are predominantly home-based and as such a laptop will be provided, however you would be welcome into the Ebor offices to use the facilities if you wish.

Successful candidates will have experience of organising meetings, agenda setting and taking minutes. With a good understanding of dealing with confidential and sensitive issues, and the ability to remain impartial, you will have excellent communication skills and will be able to travel to meetings.

Closing Date: 3rd September
