We are looking for an experienced and highly organised colleague to take responsibility for communications both within and beyond the school, to market the school effectively and to deploy a variety of media to do so.

We will look to you to develop all aspects of marketing, branding, communications and PR. Your audience is broad encompassing prospective, current and former pupils and students, their parents and other key stakeholders linked to the school. You will have a key role in developing initiatives around admissions into Years 7 and 12. It is an exciting time in the school’s development with the school having worked with leading designers to update our logo and style guide.

To be successful, you will need to have a keen eye for detail, the ability to design and produce a broad range of marketing and media collateral. You will have a can do attitude and a commitment to meeting deadlines. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is an inspirational leader and is able to work under pressure with a wide range of people in a dynamic and exciting secondary school context.

The role is part time (Term Time Only plus 2 weeks in the Summer holidays) and is the equivalent of 4 days per week. We will consider applicants who are keen and able to work flexibly in order for them to be available for events out of regular school hours.

We welcome applications from those with experience of design programmes and an excellent command of the English language. Previous experience in an educational context would be an advantage. We believe in developing our staff and have an energetic and supportive staff team and an effective CPD programme.
