South Wiltshire UTC is a specialist STEM school for 14-19 year olds situated in the vibrant Wiltshire City of Salisbury The UTC is now in its 3rd year. 

We are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of Computer Science with excellent subject knowledge to join our STEM specialist school from September. The position will put you at the heart of our STEM focused curriculum; working closely with other specialist colleagues you will help shape our specialist offer with the opportunity to be truly innovative. As such you must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to experiences and the outcomes of our students, maintaining and building upon our journey of improvement. The ability to deliver complimentary subjects including aspects of electronics would be an advantage but not essential. You will be supported by a team of talented and dedicated colleagues. South Wiltshire UTC can offer you a professional challenge and a rewarding opportunity, working with a collaborative leadership team that is passionate about the progress and development of every student.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 18th June 2018 with interview held on the 21st.

About South Wiltshire University Technical College

South Wiltshire University Technical College (UTC)  is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Wiltshire serving students from the age of 14-19. The secondary school, situated in Sailsbury has a capacity of 600 students. It is in partnership with organisations including the University of Southampton, Wiltshire Council, Wiltshire College, Royal Navy and Public Health England. 

South Wiltshire University Technical College opened in 2015 and specialises in Science, Engineering and Computing. A UTC is a new type of practical learning environment where pupils learn practical skills alongside the traditional curriculum to develop their employability skills for the future. Each student is allocated their own laptop or tablet to access, along with £1 million specialist Science, Engineering and Computing equipment.
