Vision for Education are recruiting a specialist Computer Science teacher to work within an SEMH school in Stockport.  The position is to start in September 2020 and will be a permanent role for the right person. Experience of the Computer Science Curriculum is essential.

This role of  a Computer Science Teacher  is open to teachers who have worked within mainstream, SEMH, PRU or Alternative Provision settings. It is vital that you have the personality and aptitude to engage students, and demonstrate the ability to teach computer science, adapting yourself to a varied timetable. 

Working with students who have become disengaged with education can be challenging, however it can also be exceptionally rewarding. Teaching small class sizes allows you to see the progress you are making in pupils education. 


Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, training and qualifcations, To be considered for the Computer Science Teacher  position, you will: 

Hold QTS or QTLS

Have relevant experience in Computer Science

Be resilient and have a desire to support pupils who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. 

Have a genuine aspiration to become part of a team of school staff committed to making a difference to young people’s lives.
