Job overview
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, dynamic and innovative Teacher of Computer Science who has the ability to teach across the age range. The ability to teach Computer Science at A Level would be advantageous.
The successful applicant will join a happy, experienced, and successful department, and will work closely with the Head of Computer Science in supporting students’ learning across the whole school. This may include contributing to the process of ensuring the departmental schemes of learning remain at the cutting edge of developments and supporting academic co-curricular opportunities e.g. lunchtime and after school clubs, departmental trips, national competitions and other enrichment activities.
Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS and Child protection screening including checks with past employers. We are an equal opportunities employer.

About Wellington School
Wellington School is a Church of England denominational, co-educational, day and boarding school in Somerset. As of the most recent inspection, there were 900 pupils on the school roll. The school’s motto is the opening of Psalm 127; ‘If God Be Not With Us, Our Labour is in Vain’. The Senior School teaches pupils between the ages of 11-18. The school also offers preparatory facilities from the ages of 3 onwards. Founded in 1837 as a boys school, Wellington has been fully independent and co-educational since 1978. The 35 acre site is a combination of traditional and more recent architecture. The school operates in both a boarding and day capacity.
