Consultant(s) to undertake a Strategic Review of Gresham College

Gresham College is an independent institution supported in part under the terms of the will of Sir Thomas Gresham by the City of London Corporation and the Worshipful Company of Mercers, following his death in 1579.

The College has been providing lectures on a wide range of topics in the City of London for over 400 years. There are 130 annual lectures and events which are free and open to all. The College has been recording its lectures since the 1980s and live-streams all lectures for those unable to attend in person. There are now over 2,000 lectures freely available online (https://www.gresham.ac.uk).

The College is looking to appoint a consultant(s) to undertake a Strategic Review to build on the College’s previous work in order to develop a new long-term vision for the College.

The successful consultant will demonstrate experience of or, if part of a wider consultancy, access to experience of the following criteria.

  • Strong academic and broad business perspective and extensive consulting experience within the education sector 
  • Familiarity with broadcasting/ electronic dissemination, online education and public performance of lectures 
  • Proven ability to co-ordinate media campaigns, communication strategies (internal and external) and to plan, manage and deliver targeted programmes.
  • Deep understanding of the development of digital technology
