CORBY SIXTH FORM - OPENING SEPTEMBER 2023

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher within post-16 education to join as one of three Course Managers, as we open Corby Sixth Form in September 2023.

The Corby Sixth Form aims to be an ambitious and inclusive learning environment that will help build vital study and life skills, offering a sixth form experience that’s different to school with varied programme of subjects.

As Course Manager for Humanities you will be leading a faculty, including the following subjects:

  • Business (A Level and Vocational) 
  • Economics 
  • Philosophy 
  • Classics 
  • Geography 
  • History  
  • Ancient History 
  • Politics 
  • Law

Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of delivering a consistent and high-quality learning experience for students in a similar environment, it is desirable but not essential that candidates have experience of leading teaching teams. Candidates hold a degree in a relevant subject to the role, alongside a recognised teaching qualification.  Further information about the role and the essential requirements, including safeguarding can be found in the Job Description and Person Specification attached.
