We have an exciting opportunity for a Cover Supervisor and Additional Needs Worker to join our excellent Additional Needs Department from September 2018, or earlier. The role will primarily involve being part of a team that supports learning within the classroom through the provision of cover for absent members of the teaching staff and support for students within lessons when required. The role will involve working with the whole ability range of students across all three Key Stages across the full range of the curriculum though the majority of the cover aspect will be Key Stages 3 and 4.
Ideally you will have had previous experience in a secondary school environment in a similar role.
You will be educated to A level standard in at least 3 subjects, and have good GCSE grades in Maths and English plus at least three other subjects. Alongside this you will have good organisational and interpersonal skills along with the personal characteristics required to supervise students and build relationships with both the teaching and non-teaching staff.
In return we will offer a wide range of CPD relevant to your needs.
