We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor who would enjoy being part of a forward thinking and improving school.

Are you interested in teaching but do not hold a teaching qualification?

Are you interested in working with young people in an educational environment?  Do you need to gain classroom experience to further your career?

If you have answered yes to any of the above, we would like to hear from you!

This is the ideal opportunity for someone who would like to work in education and enjoys working with young people.  This role offers you the exciting chance to work in a classroom but without the usual demands of a teaching job.  If you are considering entering the teaching profession or just want to make a difference working with young people, this is the perfect job for you!

The ideal candidate will be confident and able to supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.  We will provide you with excellent support and training to enable you to be successful in this post.  You will be provided with lesson plans and the resources to supervise lessons.

To succeed in this role, you will need a good sense of humour, a calm and caring manner and the ability to work on your own initiative.  This is a very varied and interesting role; we can guarantee that no two days will be the same!  Whilst offering you a challenge this post can be very satisfying and it will give you a great sense of achievement.

At Cranbourne we pride ourselves on being a friendly, inclusive team with young people at the heart of our community.

At Cranbourne we are looking for hardworking, ambitious and dynamic staff committed to excellence.  You will be a self-motivated and reflective person who is keen to develop further, have strong interpersonal skills and be an excellent team player.

Cranbourne is a successful, innovative and rapidly improving 11-16 school.  Students and staff are proud of their School and our achievements.  We offer an excellent induction programme, an exciting learning and teaching environment and first-class on-going professional learning opportunities to further enhance your career.

Cranbourne and Hampshire County Council are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
