Cover Supervisor

LGPS Band 3 Points 17-21 £18,672 - £20,541 

Actual salary to be determined dependent on hours worked

Start Date: As soon as possible

We require a Cover Supervisor to supervise whole classes during short term staff absence which may on occasion include cover within the PE department. Days of work and times to be decided.

The postholder will be expected to attend departmental meetings and some INSET training sessions and will need to:

• Have good literacy and numeracy skills

• Be flexible

• Have good communication skills, and demonstrate effective implementation of school’s behaviour management policy

• Be able to show initiative and work independently

• Be able to work with children from all Key stages

• Be approachable
