Cover Supervisor 

31.75 hours per week – Term time

Swale Academies Trust support staff scale: Band 5 Point 15 - 17 (Full time salary £18,704 - £20,121)

Pro rata salary (Point 15) £13,543.61 per annum

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person, to cover classes across the whole curriculum and age-range in the short term absence of teachers.  We are looking for someone who is committed to supporting the learning of our students, to join our team of Cover Supervisors.  This is an ideal opportunity for those of you who may be thinking of teaching as a career, as this will provide experience of a classroom and students. 

The Eastbourne Academy Ofsted report (January 2017) confirmed once again that we are a Good school. The Lead Inspector commented: “Pupils are immensely proud of their school and are keen to learn.” We have regularly won awards for national achievement and our rebuilding programme was completed in 2013 -14 so that you will be working in state of the art facilities. We operate a one to one digital device scheme for students and staff .
